I hesitate in calling it a full-fledged control panel because you're only given the options of starting playback and closing the window. The only way I could figure out to stop the music was to access the browser control panel and select stop. There's also a problem in that while the MP3 is downloading and playing, your system is completely frozen.

Basically, the MP3 downloads are just a novelty at this point and for the record it is amazingly cool to have your DC play back an MP3 for your listening pleasure , but that may change later this year when the Dreamcast MP3 player is released.

These additions are the only real reasons to try out the new browser, and the VMU downloads make the thing a must-have. But for actually surfing the web, you're still best sticking with your PC. We'll have to wait and see if that changes for the next version of the browser.
