It took me away for a while and that is really all I ask for from most games. I really do love Halloween-themed games. I do have an additional comment, though, about game reviews. Please, if you are having technical issues with a game, this should not be part of the review. I had no technical issues while playing this game, but even if I did, these reviews are supposed to be related to the game play and not to describe glitches that occurred.

I know such things are frustrating, but that is what Customer Support is for. And also please remember that just because you have technical problems with a particular game, this does not mean that everyone will. Thank you for listening.

I like mine a bit more traditional. First off, my game ran perfectly, not one glitch, not one slow load. I actually enjoyed the HOGs; they usually annoy me. Graphics, not stellar but still a good effort. One dimensional characters that I really didn't even care about. VO's were good.

The bonus game flowed well into the main game. The morphers, collectibles and puzzle pieces were a challenge to find, for sure. I enjoyed the puzzles- some were tough, some easier. Yeah, some of the objects you have to find to move the story forward don't make sense but at least its not the dreaded locked mailbox that takes three parts to unlock and the mailbox contains no mail, just toenail clippers That must be why I haven't been receiving my mail lately.

Hey, there are plenty of worse Halloween games out there-I know, I played one before this one. That one was horrendous. Defying Death is a good game- not great- but good and worth playing. And, I swear, this is my last Halloween game this year. I know I've said that before but this time I really mean it!

Other things I see many reviewers hate is "alternate realities" that contain weird monsters and flying furniture etc.

If only they would create a game with a mystery, in a grounded location and drop all the weird monsters and dirty gross locations that aren't scary in a themed game anyway. It's been suggested to the DEV over and over that most players are over the age of 35 years.

Many adults here are begging for a truly scary game that isn't just a point and place item that is "fluff easy". All of these DEV should play some of the older games and add maps.

When we aren't in the evil scenes we spend a great deal of time in a dark library full of broken objects.
