The conflict that was saving Dhadak from suicide ends up disfigured as it is awarded a backhanded farewell, sans logic or sense, to eventually fade into black. What could have numbed your soul for at least a week dilutes itself and reinforces the myth about Bollywood: realism is still too far away.

All in all Dhadak is a well-executed romance drama that survives because of the crime quotient and the cast performance. It is a natural and important story that must reach more audience, which is why I am validating this remake.

Despite its shortcomings, it succeeds in what it sets out to do, and for that, a weekend ticket price wouldn't be a waste. Go for it! If you understand Marathi, catch Sairat instead. Because if you want people to watch it as a fresh film then you should have gone for the fresh script, instead of Remake.

Some iconic films should never be touched or made again whether it is Bollywood, Hollywood or any regional language film, you can never match the original one despite having readymade classic project in hands, if a common viewer like me can understand this thing then why can't those high business minded people understand this? Dhadak is a fine example of the same which didn't even try to become a classic and ended up as an average film. The narrative of Dhadak has no naturality and humour like Sairat.

Not a single scene matches the level then you can imagine how the entire film is. Especially the screenplay which has lots of changes like Characters, locations does not include any realisticness like Sairat because the film was made to show the real face of our society and entertainer us, but Dhadak neither entertains you nor hits it to the main content. Acting wise I would say this film should be watched only for Ishan Khattar's smooth act.

First Beyond The Clous and now Dhadak this guy is on a roll of becoming a good actor at least, if not a superstar. Janhavi looks good and she was choosen for the project only for that I guess. Other star cast is ok but not a single character leaves and impact or remains in memory while even the side roles of Sairat were popular. Film has some childish jokes which might make you laugh at some moments but that would be unintentional love it won't come naturally from inside.

The screenplay of the firm has killed the content that the film never connects with the soul, it just passes with the time and we don't even give a damn to what is happening on screen. Music is copied, yet 2 new fresh songs are good but when the whole film has not connected, how could you connect with the small portion of songs?

And for the others who will watch it as a Fresh film will get to see an Average film. At box office this one might be an average grosser, I expect this pan India release not to surpass Regional release Sairat numbers.
